Long since finished the GoT books. Waiting for Father Time to crank out the next one. Need to watch season 2 and season 3 starts in March!
Have not been reading as much as I should. Started H2G2--again--but haven't finished it yet. Got my hands on Odd Thomas book 5 so I am catching up on that. Very good.
I read Old Man's War by John Scalzi. It was really good. Not at all what I was expecting. Also read Pirate Cinema by Cory Doctorow around the same time. LOVED it, but the ending got very hurried and disappointing. Still, I would recommend both. I tried reading a few other things but just couldn't get into them--Atlas Shrugged--or just didn't enjoy them if I did finish--A Wrinkle in Time. I try to keep up with all these at Goodreads but I have not done well of late. Maybe I will try to do that later today. (Don't hold your breath)

Ok so here's the best part--I have finally made a decent dent in Doctor Who! I am in the middle of season 2 and I swear I would watch all day and night if I could. Yes, it's often cheesy, but it pulls me in like few things can. The story keeps getting better but I know all good things end and I'm almost to that point. Not looking forward to losing Rose. :( I think I can say I am completely obsessed. Abby loves to watch it with me so she pouts if I watch without her. She has a lot to catch up on then. haha Oops.

Ok now music. Since I last posted, I got to see Ben Folds Five. So great! Last summer was 2 concerts of bands I have been listening to for 15+ years. Amazing. This year I will see 2 more, though I have seen them before. In April, we're taking the kids to see Weird Al. Yay! In June, Tim and I (and maybe Alek) are going to see They Might Be Giants again. This will be my 6th show. haha That seems like "ok maybe that's enough" but it never will be. NEVER!! Sorry.
